I designed this afghan for my son for his birthday. It was a long project, taking about seven weeks, but I think he is going to love it! He is a huge Dragon Ball Z fan so I chose four symbols from his favorite characters. It is double knit, which I like to do with stranded colorwork scarves and blankets so the "wrong side" still looks tidy. I knit the four symbols a separate squares then grafted them and knit a border around the edge.
This is my "knitting blog" ... somewhere I can write about my projects, my own designs and my love for the craft, even if I'm the only one who ever reads it! I love to knit and as the title suggests, I am never without at least one project (usually several) on my needles. I knit everything from socks to mittens to afghans for all of my favorite people! Some say it's worth having a baby just receive a handknit sweater :O) You can find me on ravelry.com ~ member name terif
